Aspiring delegates,

It is a great honour for Diponegoro University, especially for me, to welcome you in this Diponegoro Model United Nations. I would like to say that all of the people involved in the making of this DMUN are the best team I could ask for. 2015 is our fifth year since the first Diponegoro Model United Nations was formed. Years went by, our DMUN is getting better and better, along with the success of our main goals.

Many people dream to be a diplomat in the future. Many of them also tried to do their best on realizing and reaching that goal. But there are also a lot of them who still do not know the duties of diplomat, what things should a diplomat do, and what responsibility a diplomat should take. By choosing "Enriching Your Diplomatic Skill, Empowering The World" as our main theme, we believe, the 5th Diponegoro Model United Nations can be one of the ways for future diplomats to enrich their skills on diplomacy. Therefore, they can empower the world.

 

This 5th Diponegoro Model United Nations has a goal to make future diplomats enhance their natural skill on diplomacy things; either it is in a form of public speaking or by delivering their ideas well. We prepared this Diponegoro Model United Nations to provide a great Model United Nations experience for those who have not been involved in any Model United Nations or even for those who have experienced in one or more Model United Nations. I am wishing you, future delegates, to have fruitful discussions and lively conference. Goodluck and get ready to raise your placard high!
